The service employee productivity is one of the topics that has become a topic of interest for researchers and managers. The aim of this research is to explain the scientific foundation and offer practical solutions for improving employee productivity based on internal marketing and knowledge sharing behavior in hotel industry. The research is applied from goal perspective and descriptive - correlative from data collection type. The data were collected by questionnaire. The validity of the questionnaire was confirmed by experts and confirmatory factor analysis and the reliability was confirmed by Cronbach alpha coefficient. The statistical population consists of 565 manager and employee of hotels of east Azerbaijan province; finally 232 questionnaires were analyzed by simple random and cluster sampling method. The results of structural equations modeling showed that internal marketing has directly impact with path coefficient 0.6 and indirectly effect by the knowledge sharing behavior mediating role with path coefficient of 0.21 on employee productivity and by path coefficient 0.53 on knowledge sharing behavior. Also, knowledge sharing behavior structure by path coefficient of 0.41 has a positive effect on employee’s productivity. The result implies the partial mediator role of the knowledge sharing behavior. Therefore, it is recommended to senior hotel managers to develop internal marketing practices in order to improve knowledge sharing behavior and productivity of employees.
